About Us
Run smart, run free. Pico's shorts are built for city streets and mountain peaks.
Pico Running was created by Liam, a passionate runner inspired by the mountains and everyday adventure. Core values center around simplicity, performance, and a love for the outdoors.

What We Make
As an avid runner, I noticed a consistent problem: I needed a way to carry my essentials — phone, keys, headphones, water — without feeling burdened. Most running gear either compromised comfort, missed the mark, or wasn’t designed to hold my items securely. The solution? Pico Running shorts.
Our signature product, the Pico Running shorts, were designed with runners in mind. With a unique waist system and functional pocket design, these shorts securely hold everything you need — from keys to phones — without the bounce or bulk. We took trail running innovation, designed for rugged outdoors, and made it practical and accessible for every runner. Our shorts are for those who want to run comfortably, whether navigating the urban jungle or conquering mountain trails.

Why We Do It
The story of Pico Running starts with a personal experience that shaped the essence of our brand. In 2024, after losing a close family member, I (Liam) took a few days off to climb Pedraforca, a mountain that has always called to me. As I hiked and ran its rugged paths, I reconnected with memories of my loved one and reflected on what mountains and running truly mean to me — freedom, finding my own way, and perseverance. This moment of reflection and adventure is the foundation of Pico Running — a brand that connects the adventure of the mountains to the daily freedom of running.

The Pico Logo
Mountain peaks have always called to me. When I moved to Barcelona in late 2020 — one of the densest cities in Europe — I quickly realized that just a few hours north, the soaring mountains awaited. The Pico logo, inspired by Pedraforca’s twin peaks, serves as a reminder of that yearning for adventure. “Pico” means peak in Spanish, and it’s not just about performance; it’s about the beauty of the mountains, its the adventure, and the spirit of exploration.
